15th March - Four Oaks (A) 1 - 7(W)

St Nicolas Boys displayed some excellent football today and at half time the match was all but over with St Nics Boys leading by five goals. In the second half St Nics scored another two and Four Oaks also found the back of the net. Leaving the score at the final whistle Four Oaks 1 St Nicolas Boys 7.

8th March - -Gillway(H) 3 -1(W)

After a slow start the boys soon got a foothold on the game with the opening goal. They increased the tally to three at the final whistle and only conceded a single.

Maybe not the most impressive of performances to date but by far the most important, as at the end of the match St Nics found out that they had clinched the Tamworth League title.

Another impressive win today for St Nic Boys against their opposition of Austrey. They scored six goals and defended exceptionaly well to keep a clean sheet, leaving the final score St Nics 6 Austrey 0.

16th February - Four Oaks(H) 5 - 1(W)

Today the boys continued their unbeaten league record against their oppsition of Four Oaks. At half time whistle the boys were four goals in front and had displayed some quality football.

In the second half defenders and forwards changed positions and it was great to see the versatility within the team.

Special mention to defender Josh who today opened up his score sheet for St Nicolas Boys.

9th February - Atherstone Ranger (A) 0 - 6 (W)

St NIcs raced into a three 3 - 0 half time lead. The defenders didn't give Atherstone many opportunities on goal. The midfield created several chances in the second half that enabled St Nis to run out with a 6 - 0 win.

Another good performance from the boys saw them score four goals today and to concede only a single to enable them to continue their unbeaten league record.

5th January - Amington(A) 0 - 14(W)

The first game of 2008 saw the St Nicolas Boys in great goal scoring form with the tally of goals hitting nine at the half time whistle.

Harry D, Matty W and Nathan continued to control the ball with ease and were determined not to let Amington back into the game. Another five impressive goals were scored to make the final score 0 -14.

8th December - St Johns(H) 5 - 4 (W)

Today was a great test of character for the St Nicolas Boys as they found themselves 3 - 0 down at half time playing in possibly the worst weather conditions to date.

After an inspiring team talk from manager Jas the boys start the second half with renewed vigour. All the boys contributed to an incredible turn around, leaving the score at the final whistle 5 - 4 to St Nics.

On our away match to Higham today the boys took command of the game from the off. The team displayed some quality football in all areas and scored eight goals.

The defenders were alert and were determined not to concede aided by an excellent save from Liam.

St Nicolas Colts continued their impressive unbeaten record today and displayed some entertaining football. The Colts scored six quality goals and were unlucky to conceed two goals in the latter half of the game.The final score St Nicolas Colts 6 Higham United 2.

A great display of determined football was showed by both sides but it was St Nics who had the edge with the half time score 2 - 0.
Atherstone Rangers fought back in this half and scored to make it an exciting finish but St Nics stood firm.

Todays league match away was to Austrey. After a long awaited first goal the boys confidence then grew. The team then scored another eight to continue their impressive form of late. Leaving the final score Austrey 0 St Nicolas Boys 9.

6th October - Overseal Juniors(H)9 -1(W)

St Nicolas boys quick feet was ever more apparent today as they produced an excellent team win with no less than seven players adding their names to the score sheet. The defenders Harry W, Matty W and Josh defended well and the only ball for the oppostion that ended in the back of the net was quality and quite unstoppable.

22nd September - Amington(H) 11- 0(W)

The Colts produced some impressive football today. The team scored six goals in the first half alone.Leaving the opposition with all to do, as the whistle blew for half time.

The second half continued with many of the St Nic boys making the score sheet. The team netted an additional five goals this half to make the final score 11 -0.

15th September - Polesworth Swifts(H) 4 - 1(W)

A good performance against strong opposition saw St Nics first home win of the season. The team passed well and an early goal gave St Nics renewed confidence. An important save from Liam kept the pressure on as the boys then went onto score again before the whistle for half time.
After a quick change in goal from Liam to Taylor the boys lined up for the start of the second half. Despite conceeding a single goal this half St Nics managed to scored twice to make the finishing score 4 - 1.
