If I'm honest when I heard the name Rugby Town I thought initially that their team would be an academy side and we were going to get a tonking.
Whilst the result went against the Rebels we did get off to a flying start with an early goal from Ryan which sneaked inside the far post. Reece added two further goals in the first half which left us leading by three goals at half time.
In the second half we didn't fair so well. Whilst the Rugby team did score 4 goals they were fortunate with a couple. Luke's long kick out of his hand's was returned with interest by a Rugby player straight into the back of the net. A further goal was awarded by the referee despite the linesman signalling for an offside, the referee believing it was a valid goal.
All in all a disappointing result, however a good tally of goals to start.
